A Little About Us
Heworth Grange City Learning Centre (CLC), Gateshead, opened in August 2002, in a brand new building with ‘state of the art’ ICT facilities
.It is a conurbation facility linked to three other “spoke schools”, namely, St. Mary’s, (Newcastle), Hebburn, (South Tyneside) and Hookergate (Gateshead).
It is located on the site of Heworth Grange School and is one of over one hundred centres established nationally as part of the government's 'Excellence in Cities' strategy.
Heworth Grange CLC aims to foster innovation in the use of ICT for schools, business as well as the local community and provide a first class environment for ICT based teaching and learning for schools, business and the local community.
