Congratulations to pupils at Lingey House who won the KFK UK Children's Film Festival in the 6 -12 year old Animation category in Durham on Sunday 18th October. Their animated film, was recorded in May over two days during the Year 5 animation competition final at Heworth Grange City Learning Centre. As a result the school has been entered into the 'International' Film Festival which is held in Serbia.

The jury chose Sir Lingeylot because they all appreciated the slapstick style of humour in the animation and in particular the title song. They could tell that the young people complete control over their project and had a lot of fun creating the film.
